HERSTORY
Gamma Nu Xi Sorority, Inc. was established December 10th. 2003 on the campus of Wayne State University. We are the first of all non-hazing Greek letter organizations. Our organization was established by Three Tantalizing Women {Angel Miller, Dayrell Perry, Michelle Richardson. Our founders desired to prove that concrete sisterhood could be established without the use of hazing. Gamma Nu Xi Sorority, Inc. is the first and only sister group to ever be established on the same date with the same mission and purpose in mind as their brother group.....{Gamma Xi Chi Fraternity, Inc.}. After only 8 months of being established, we The Gammas competed and placed 2nd, in Our first step show held at the African World Festival in Detroit, Michigan.

The mission of Gamma Nu Xi is to provide "The Ultimate Option". A Non-Hazing Greek Letter organization for college women where students can feel a sense of belonging, sisterhood and experience the fulfillment of helping in the community without having to be subjected to physical, mental and or moral abuse.
